Miss Debbie | 17 Years

—My Favorite Bible Verse—

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

—Romans 8:28

My name is Miss Debbie I “wear several hats” at LCC Preschool. I am a Pre-K teacher, an Aide, and the Playground Coordinator. I have loved working at LCC since I began as a Lunch Bunch staff member in 1999.

I received my Bachelor’s decree in Religion: Educational Ministries from Vanguard University and completed my ECE (early childhood education) units at Irvine Valley College. I have worked with children most of my adult life either in a school or church setting. I have also directed the Children’s Ministries at my church for many years. It has been my privilege to work at LCC with all of the preschoolers that have come across our threshold. I love being able to share the love of Jesus with the children and their families and to see the children grow as they explore their world. I can’t think of a better place to work.

I am married and have three children. Our daughter, Caitlyn is a student at Westmont College; our sons Michael and Matthew are both students at Laguna Beach High School. All three attended AVCS for a period of 3 -4 years before moving on to high school. My husband and I pastor a church in Aliso Viejo. We have been so blessed to partner with LCC and AVCC on numerous occasions and look forward to many more years of partnering together to see the Love of God spread in the Saddleback Valley.

I am looking forward to the future and all that God has for me and the children who He brings across my path. I never believe it is by chance that families come onto our campus bringing their most precious treasures. I appreciate parents’ trust and faith in all that we do here as we extend God’s love to their children through teaching them so many things from how to form a line, the alphabet, counting to 30 or about the life of Christ on this earth. I pray that each family senses the love and presence of God as they connect with us here at LCC and that they carry that with them throughout their lives.
