Enrichment Classes
We are thrilled to announce that, in addition to our array of classroom activities, we have successfully integrated enrichment classes into our daily curriculum. From Monday to Friday, each class will incorporate a unique enrichment component, all included within our tuition fees.
We have created an entirely new space where children can engage in a different environment from their classrooms. This change aims to boost their creativity and enhance their learning experience. Our cooking enrichment classes and chapel services are led by our fantastic LCC preschool teachers. Additionally, we have two master teachers who visit once a week to teach art and musical theater!
Art Classes
We take pride in offering a dynamic art program. We are fortunate to provide every child in our school with the opportunity to engage in the creativity, uniqueness, and joy that come with artistic expression. Our enrichment art class goes beyond painting; it explores a variety of materials for creating beautiful masterpieces. Art can be expressed in countless forms, and we value the chance to learn about each child through their creations, allowing them to proudly showcase their individuality through art.
Julie-Jaleh Molavi

“I’m Julie-Jaleh Molavi, and my journey with art has been a lifelong passion.
While developing my painting and drawing skills, I earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry, all while continuing to grow as an artist.
Now, I have my own art studio, where all my dreams have come true. Through my studio, I’m able to share my love for drawing and painting with everyone, especially young learners at LCC Preschool.
I believe it’s important to keep art alive in children because it helps them stay creative and confident as they grow.
In my classes, I teach kids to draw and paint from real-life objects, which not only builds their technical skills but also gives them the courage to create original artwork. My goal is to inspire every child to embrace their artistic potential and carry it with them as they get older.”
Musical Theater
Our musical theater enrichment class is designed to support the holistic development of young children. Engaging with music provides numerous benefits, including enhanced group participation, language development, motor skills, sensory awareness, cognitive growth, and memory improvement. A very special component of our musical theater class is that children are able to navigate their emotions through puppetry, song, or dance. This not only boosts their self-confidence but also enhances their self-esteem. At LCC, we strive to offer children various avenues for personal expression, ensuring they feel happy and fulfilled.
Elissa Kaplan Senter

“I am Elissa Kaplan Senter the new Musical Theatre teacher at LCC Preschool!
I have always loved musical theater and performing. I come from a NYC, Broadway/TV/Radio/Film "Show Biz" family. I have been a member of the unions SAG/AFTRA and AEA since age 9 when I began doing TV/Radio commercials and live theater Off-Broadway. I attended the High School of Performing Arts, the "FAME" school and received a diploma in Acting. I attended Boston University (B.S., Columbia and Harvard on scholarship, studying Mathematics, Computer Science, Religion and Pastoral Care.
I have been a certified teacher since 1981 in NY, NJ, NH and now CA as a PRe-K-6th grade teacher. This year, at LCC preschool I created a program using the Kodaly method, puppetry, dance, vocal instruction, storytelling and much more. The enrichment curriculum created for LCC preschool in addition to the musical part also involves pre reading skills, symbol recognition and much more!
I am a mom to a blended family of 5 children, 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who live all over the world. I feel very blessed to share my talents with the LCC Pre-School children and be part of such a wonderful community.”
Cooking Classes
Our cooking class is not just an ordinary cooking class; it incorporates science, mathematics, language development, and the use of all five senses. During the hour-long class, children begin by conducting a science experiment, where they observe and become little scientists, figuring out different hypotheses about how and why things are happening. Using natural ingredients, children mix, measure, and learn about recipes, and at times, they even create their own!
Chapel
Our faith is important to us, we want the children to learn about God and all the beautiful things He has created, especially the love He has for everyone. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the children participate in a 15-minute service where they listen to Bible stories. Sometimes, Charlie the Dog and Bible Bird make special appearances. Charlie and Bible Bird are our chapel puppets, which make learning about the Lord even more special.
