My name is Gwen. This is my first year teaching at LCOTC. I am excited to be here. This past summer, I filled in at LCOTC’s summer program. Prior to this, I have been assisting in a large Kindergarten class in
Garden Grove. I went back to school to study Early Childhood Education and Child Development at Saddleback College, after a career in Law and Journalism. I previously earned a B.A. and an advanced degree. Over the years, I have been an active volunteer in schools, church, youth sports, youth music/orchestra programs,Scouting and teaching ESL. I have one
son, who is a young adult. I enjoy working with children because of their openness, imagination, creativity, and excitement for learning and exploring!
